Palisades Computer Repair Guarantees
- NO charge if PCR cannot get your computer back to it's previous working condition when performing a diagnostic and repair.
- Flat labor rates are itemized and based on the work to be done. No hourly "billing gone wild".
- Palisades Computer Repair does NOT profit off of the parts replaced. You only pay the exact cost of the part (s) + shipping + California tax (if applicable), billed as "reimbursement". Therefore you are assured that there is NO incentive to get you to buy more replacement parts, as some other repair places and computer manufacturer support techs (unfortunately) may be inclined to do.
- Workmanship performed is warranted for 30 days after date of delivery. Warranty to buyer on materials replaced on repairs is the same warranty offered by the parts manufacturer or vendor to PCR - usually 30 and 90 days from the date of purchase by PCR ( typically from TigerDirect.com or NewEgg.com ). Parts NOT replaced are not subject to guarantee. Warranty shall not apply to defects resulting from improper or inadequate maintenance by buyer, buyer supplied software or interfacing, unauthorized modification or misuse, operation outside of the environment specifications of the product, improper site preparation and maintenance.
Palisades Computer Repair Limitations
PCR will make a good faith effort to protect your data. Protecting your data is priority one. However you, the customer, agree that you must back up your data, software, information and/or files. You agree that whether or not you request PCR to back up any data, software, information or other files stored on your product, in no event shall PCR and/or its repair tech be liable under any circumstances for any loss, alteration or corruption of any data, software, information, files, or loss of any other media from your product.
Data corruption or loss can preexist and / or can occur before, during, or after file transfer.
