What is personal "browser data"?

This includes:

Bookmarks (AKA "Favorites") - Links to various web sites that you have stored.

Form field history - Saved entries for web forms and the Search Bar. When you enter data such as your name, address, and phone number to make online purchases, this data can be stored by your browser as form field data.

Passwords - When you use your browser to memorize a login user name and password to a frequently visited site this information gets stored as "secure data".

Cookies - When reinstalling Windows, PCR recommends deleting cookies because viruses often get stored as cookies.

Download actions for file types: What action to perform when downloading certain types of files (save or open with a specified application).

Preferences -

Permissions - Per-site preferences for allowing cookies, images, popups, and extension install permissions.

Security certificate settings -

Session storage - Only copy this if you deliberately keep and use many saved sessions.

Spelling corrections - Personal (custom) entries in the spell checker dictionary.

Site specific settings - (e.g. Page Zoom)

NOTE: For most computer users, bookmarks and perhaps form field history and passwords are the only items that they want to back up. Some users only wish to keep bookmarks.
